First blog from Scandinavian neighbourhood - Finland!

3 days since I arrived in Finland on Tuesday eve. A cool cold place. Finally, a break from Chennai ;)
Flight to Helsinki from Chennai was good. European airports are way too good, both in size & service. But then now we've our very own IGI Delhi to boast of.

Looks scenic but need time to check out more on that & the worst thing is I don't have any company to explore or a cam except my amazing N73. Still...the plan for today is go for bowling with new roomies, hope I'll have some good time. I have no idea what's happening in India for past 4 days (got no lappy either). Btw, its formals in office on Fridays too...WTF!!!

Rest of it is same as Chennai, only 3 differences...
1. Here it's cold, there it was freaking hot.
2. Here they speak Finnish, there it's Tamil - both alien lang. for me.
3. Here the common skin color is fair, there it's a little dark. (No pun intended)

They say new people here let the ground kiss their butt a lot during winters coz of snow, I hope I don't get lucky as snow starts in about 2-3 weeks......

Rains....fun or mess?

There were times when we all used to love rains and waited all over the year when we would go cycling in rain or to take rain bath on the roof or in the open veranda! It'll all be fun to go to school on the bicycle wearing a raincoat and while coming back home raincoat would save only the bag!
But in the last couple of days as I'm in Faridabad...rains have created a different world altogether....water logging as if ppl should get some boats here...if condition in the poshest sectors 15-16 is so...what would the condition be in not so good areas here?....it was like a lake in sectors 19, 8 etc!! And with all this goes away the momentary thought of me agreeing to my Dad's thought of settling down in Faridabad.
And as I'm writing this blog about not so good faridabad, I'm having breakfast of pakoras with tea in the backyard, as it's raining here in Faridabad! :)

India o India!!

It's raining in Tamil land! Weather was good when i reached home but atmosphere was already hot as I entered inside....Rahul Mehra was there along with Arnab on Times Now! Arnab might be cool at times but Rahul....naah...at his usual best..to the point! n pissed off at full of bulls**t Indian politics. Acha hai...Acha hai....Gussa bahut acha hai :)
Why the hell don't these politicians spare sports from politics? Anyways no-one can stop them from eating fodder or doing mining or sending money to swiss accounts but the least they can di is let things improve. By letting development they won't lose their vote bank. Need an example? look at Gujrat.
Hope India doesn't wins Olympic bid or else again my money will again goto someone's black pocket :) and it'll be wonder of wonders if CWG is success! Idiot Kalmadi will get to brag again....even we don't medals in double digit.
