Sharing n Spreading Love

An incident that occured about an hour and a half back left me with many emotions erupting. If one was of loving, sharing and caring, the another was of hunger, grief and the condition of not so privileged people....yes, its true that for many people it's tough to get even square meals a day.
A poor kid comes to us asking for money/food...and no, he was not begging...all he wanted us was to buy the ear buds he was selling!! But as so called educated n sensible people we are supposed to be, we just asked them (he was with his sister possibly) to go by....but then, are they taught to leave just like that? Finally he does gets a piece of pakora we had on our table.....n then what I saw was one of the things which have left an impression on my heart forever.....
This kid walks up to his mother and younger sis and gives them what he had got for them & walks up to some other person in hope of something else...food or money to buy food, whatever it might be.
I don't know whether this kid was hungry or not but he had the love, respect and feeling of sharing things....that may be I don't have as much as him.....had it been most of us, that pakora piece must have been processed by our intestines immediately.
Well, I felt something today but did I learn something or not? Not sure... only time will tell.

Wishing u all a belated merry x-mas...It must hv bn tough for Santa to shower gifts this time for the strong chill wave in whole Europe & most of the US. Seems like 2012 is approaching anyways...

Chennai mein masti is actually is not so sasti coz everything here is either so cheap that u wont like it or if its gud n u like it, it ll burn a hole...not only in ur pocket but ur bum too... ;)

I don't understand that when Chennaites pronounce Bhati as Bhathi, n Jyoti as Jyothi then why not beautiful as beauthiful or Elephant as Elephanth....lol

I am not taking a gig at any lang., but some things r funny everywhere...... :)

I heard from MEBs 3 idiots after a long time tonight!! It does makes you feel good to have friends who call you up when they hear that you r happy....thanks 2 you idiots if you are reading this (the right idiots will know). Damn these guys who r going 2 Mcleodganj without me to find a rave party & to become a MAN...lol
It seems i ll see the winters this season...I don't know what this season relates to actually...except the feeling of cold n heat u need all the time ;)

Had 3 calls today....A call that was expected, one unexpected call & one awaited.......ahh...life is good again.
Why it happens that as soon as you have forgotten to hope for things, the hopes fulfil....the wishes are granted, out of nowhere....did the Santa come before Christmas to grant wishes this time? hehe...now that the winters have truly started in upper part of India, it makes me smile to feel if winters actually bring happiness to some people.....n with Christmas down the week....the bells have started to ring!

Well this one comes after a break from work...from whatsoever important, urgent, sensible or insensible or unimportant things with one hell of week getting over n one coming up.

Finished reading Chetan Bhagat's latest "Two States" yesterday. An enchanting tale of a couple - a gal n a guy, who make it together because they love each other.....It's a must read kind of stuff of those who are in love n more for those are not!

This was a week that reminded me of a few old beautiful moments I had in Chennai a little long back...splendid weather, mesmerising sunrises n sunsets.

Finally had some rest today after months of unrest when I was only with me (thanks to my stomach n my intestines), listened to those beautiful songs someone gave me n a video someone allowed me to shoot....
I dunno why but today i am missing a few ppl a lot....the ppl who meant world to me at one time in life or another. If at some point of time they were my frenz, at another it was maa and at another time it was her. Sometimes we wish to give away everything just to get a few things back....well, they are the world then, it ll be worth it.

And now I am waiting for gaajar barfi from Delhi to arrive.

So much of work...may be the actual work starts now!
Today i feel not so happy...may be i'll be able to give smiles to someone.

The beginning of another Weekend in Namma Chennai

A weekend in Chennai is indeed a reason to Party....n all one can have in this party is...more of ice...on which you can pour some good Scotch..or Whiskey and some water alongwith Soda. And its actually a fun filled weekend when you knowingly miss a movie like Ajab Prem ki Gajab Kahani so that you could drink with your friends (well, actually my P200 dint respond to the call).

Its fun to have a good amount of alcohol flowing through your veins and lighting a ciggi does takes some effort on a rainy night with your bike cruising at 60kmph on a FULL MOON NIGHT(I feel that's enough on a pot holed speed-breaker full water clogged road with rain piecing straight through your eyes, isnt it? ;)
All of this happens often when I'm with Anurag Singh. LOL.

Well, in the end this city doesn't sucks that much... does a place really changes people or it's just a transient effect?
